A Simple Apology Can Work Wonders for Doctors

Insurance defense lawyers and insurance companies have advised doctors to refrain from apologizing when they make a medical error. The "Sorry Works" coalition in Illinois believes the exact opposite would help stem the number of lawsuits filed because many who sue are mad about how they were treated after the injury.
