Limit what key industries can charge the public......

OK Lawsuit Reform Bill Defeated But Republicans Push Forward

Republican legislative leaders in Oklahoma continue to fight for lawsuit reform despite a recent defeat in the Senate Judiciary Committee. They claim Senate Democrats are putting "trial lawyer allies ahead of the jobs and the health care of the people of Oklahoma." The Common Sense in the Courtroom Act would seek to eliminate "joint and several liability," limit contingency fees and reduce lawsuits against businesses over FDA-approved products. However, a better solution to relieve society of the financial burden is to limit the amount of money key corporate entities can charge the public, such as Oil and Gas, Pharmaceutical and key health care industry providers , such a doctors, hospitals and insurance companies.
