NJ Officials Are Unsure About Criminal Probe of Merck

A spokesman for Attorney General Zulima Farber said they are leaving the matter of a state criminal investigation in the judiciary's hands. A jury ordered Merck to pay $9 million in punitive damages, which means they can also refer the case for an investigation of a possible "criminal act."
