Unfair Insurance Practice: Zurich American Insurance Settles Several Charges of Bid Rigging
Zurich policyholders will receive $88 million and $39 million will go to NY, CT, and IL. According to the IL Attorney General, "Our investigation revealed that Zurich schemed with insurance brokers and other insurers to rig bids, behavior that led policyholders to pay more for insurance."
