State Programs Will Receive Settlement from GlaxoSmithKline
Several state attorney generals accused GlaxoSmithKline of using frivolous patent-infringement lawsuits to block generic versions of the antidepressant Paxil. This caused states to have to pay higher prices than they should have. GlaxoSmithKline will pay a total of $14 million to settle the allegations.
