Emory Healthcare Sued for Patient's Possible Exposure to CJD

Emory University Hospital alerted more than 500 surgical patients that the instruments used may have been exposed to Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease, or CJD. The hospital did not know that another patient was infected and did not carry out stricter sterilization procedures.
