Universal Healthcare Now! Chronically Ill Often Go Without Care

Approximately one-third of working-age adults without insurance have been diagnosed with chronic illness, according to a new study. The report, to be published in the Annals of Internal Medicine, found that the growing numbers of uninsured patients in the United States are not receiving treatment for ailments such as diabetes or high blood pressure. Researchers estimate that at least 11 million patients diagnosed with a chronic condition may not be receiving adequate medical care. America needs universal health care now!
